We strive to provide you with choices regarding the Personal Data you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:
- Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. You can also click here to modify your cookie preferences. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this Website may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
- Promotional Offers from the Company. If you do not wish to have your contact information used by the Company to promote our goods, service, or digital products, you can opt-out by sending us an email stating your request to thebear@thenormalbrand.com, or unsubscribing from these communications from using the unsubscribe mechanism contained within them. This opt out does not apply to information provided to the Company as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience or other transactions.

We do not collect any Sensitive Data of consumers.
We will retain your Personal Data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:
- The length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide requested products or services to you;
- Whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject (for example, certain laws require us to keep records of your transactions for a certain period of time before we can delete them);or

We obtain the categories of Personal Data listed above from the following categories of sources:
- Directly from you. For example, from forms you complete or goods, services, or digital products you purchase.
- Indirectly from you. For example, from observing your actions on our Website.
- From third party sources, including information from commercially available sources.
We may disclose your Personal Data to a third party for a business purpose. When we disclose Personal Data for a business purpose, we enter into a contract that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to both keep that Personal Data confidential and not use it for any purpose except performing the contract. We disclosed this Personal Data for a business purpose to the following categories of third parties:

- consumer relations, including consumer complaint response services; and

We may “sell” your Personal Data or “share” your Personal Data with third parties. As used herein, “sell” is used as defined in applicable law, which may include the exchange of Personal Data for monetary or other valuable consideration, and “share” refers to sharing for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, as contemplated under applicable law. While we do not “sell” Personal Data in exchange for monetary consideration, some uses of Personal Data may constitute an exchange for “other valuable consideration.” Applicable law prohibits third parties who purchase or receive the Personal Data from reselling or resharing it unless you have received explicit notice and an opportunity to opt-out of further sales or sharing.

We sell your Personal Data with the following categories of third parties:

We share your Personal Data with the following categories of third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising:
- Social media companies, like Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest.
- Internet cookie information recipients, like Google.
As applicable, certain state privacy laws provide their residents, respectively, with specific rights regarding their Personal Data.
- Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights. You may have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your Personal Data. Once we receive and verify your request (please see Subsection Exercising Access, Data Portability, Correction, and Deletion Rightsbelow for more information), we will disclose to you, as applicable:
- The categories of Personal Data we collected about you.
- The categories of sources for the Personal Data we collected about you.
- Our business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing that Personal Data.
- The categories of third parties with whom we disclose that Personal Data.
- The specific pieces of Personal Data we collected about you (also called a data portability request).
- If we sold, shared, or disclosed your Personal Data for a business purpose, two separate lists disclosing:
- the Personal Data categories that we sold or shared and for each category identified, the categories of third parties to whom we sold or shared that particular category of Personal Data; and
- the Personal Data categories that we disclosed for a business purpose and for each category identified, the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed that particular category of Personal Data.
- Correct Specific Information. You may have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Data about you. Once we receive and verify your request (please see Subsection Exercising Access, Data Portability, Correction, and Deletion Rightsbelow for more information), we will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct the information to comply with your request. Not all state privacy laws may afford this right to their residents.
- Deletion Request Rights. You may have the right to request that we delete any of your Personal Data that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and verify your request (please see Subsection Exercising Access, Data Portability, Correction, and Deletion Rights below for more information), we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your Personal Data from our records, unless an exception applies. In responding to your request, we will inform you whether or not we have complied with the request, and, if we have not complied, provide you with an explanation as to why.
We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us, or our service provider(s), to:
- Complete the transaction for which we collected the Personal Data or, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
- Help to safeguard the security and integrity of your Personal Data to the extent the use of your Personal Data is reasonably necessary and proportionate for those purposes.
- Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
- Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise his/her free speech rights or exercise another right provided for by law.
- Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 et. seq.).
- Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the information’s deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the research’s achievement, if you previously provided informed consent.
- Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.
- Comply with a legal obligation.
- Personal Data Sales and Sharing Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights.
Pursuant to applicable law, you may have the right to direct us to not sell or share your Personal Data at any time (the “right to opt-out”). As used herein, “share” refers to sharing for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, as contemplated under applicable law.
We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the Personal Data of consumers under 16 years of age. We will not sell or share the Personal Data of consumers we actually know are less than 16 years of age, unless we receive affirmative authorization (the “right to opt-in”) from either the consumer who is between 13 and 16 years of age, or the parent or guardian of a consumer less than 13 years of age. Consumers who opt-in to Personal Data sales or sharing may opt-out of future sales or sharing at any time.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Data
Once you make an opt-out request, we will wait at least twelve (12) months before asking you to reauthorize Personal Data sales or sharing. However, you may change your mind and opt back in to Personal Data sales at any time by contacting us via email at thebear@thenormalbrand.com.
You do not need to create an account with us to exercise your opt-out rights. We will only use Personal Data provided in an opt-out request to review and comply with the request.
If you wish to opt out of interest-based advertising not provided by us, please visit http://preferences-mgr.truste.com/ or http://optout.aboutads.info to manage your preferences. You may also delete your delete your history, clear your cache, and delete or manage cookies through the browser and device settings. Finally, you may opt out of advertising directly through the third party provider itself. For example, to opt out of ads you see through Meta/Facebook products, you can visit Facebook’s “Activity information from ad partners” section in the Ad Choices webpage through this link. Please note that you may continue to receive generic ads.

When you use a request method above, we may request certain information for verification purposes, such as your name, address, and e-mail address. We will use this information to verify this is a permitted request, such as by matching your name and address with information in our records. Depending on the type of request, we may require a certain number of data points to allow for verification.
Only you, or a person properly authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your Personal Data.
An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf using the request methods designated above. Additionally, if you use an authorized agent to submit a consumer request, we may require the authorized agent to provide proof that you gave the agent signed permission to submit the request. We may also require you to verify your own identity directly with us or directly confirm with us that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request.
The verifiable consumer request must:
- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Data or an authorized agent of such person.
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Data if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the Personal Data relates to you
Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us.
We will only use Personal Data provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
If we deny your request, you may have the right to appeal our decision. Further, if you appeal and your appeal is denied, you may the right to complain to your state’s attorney general. - Response Timing and Format. In accordance with applicable law, we endeavor to respond to consumer requests within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 45 additional days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. If you have an account with us, we may deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically.
The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your Personal Data that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.
You may make a consumer request for access or data portability free of charge twice within a 12-month period. Additional requests may be subject to a fee. We may charge a fee to process or respond to your consumer request if it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
- Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights. Unless permitted by applicable laws, in connection with you exercising your rights, we will not:
- Deny you goods or services.
- Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
- Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
- Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
However, we may offer you certain financial incentives permitted by applicable laws that can result in different prices, rates, or quality levels. Any legally-permitted financial incentive we offer will reasonably relate to your Personal Data’s value to us and contain written terms that describe the program’s material aspects. Participation in a financial incentive program requires your prior opt in consent, which you may revoke at any time.
- Other California Privacy Rights. California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal data to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. - Data Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your Personal Data from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, the safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.
